Seamless Connect 2025: Leadership & Innovation in Insurance

Seamless Insurance Partners And Customers

Seamless Insure proudly hosted Seamless Connect 2025 in Stockholm, gathering over 40 senior leaders, innovators, and decision-makers from across the Nordic insurance ecosystem. The event served as a platform for collaboration, dialogue, and inspiration — bringing together voices that are shaping the future of digital transformation in insurance.

From the first conversations over coffee to the final round of applause, the energy in the room was palpable. Seamless Connect has always been about fostering meaningful discussions and genuine connections, and this year’s edition was no exception.

Setting the Stage for Transformation

The afternoon opened with a keynote presentation by Nelius Strydom, who captivated the audience with an insightful exploration of Seamless Insure’s evolving capabilities and the company’s vision for the future of digital insurance.

Nelius spoke passionately about the opportunities that lie ahead for the industry — from streamlining complex insurance operations to enhancing customer experiences through automation, data, and intelligent digital platforms. He emphasized that technology is an enabler, not a goal in itself, and that success in the digital era depends on how companies use technology to create real value for customers and employees alike.

“We stand at the intersection of transformation and trust.”

“Our mission at Seamless is to empower insurers to embrace change confidently — by combining cutting-edge technology with a deep understanding of the human side of business.”

A Candid Conversation: Leadership in the Digital Era

One of the day’s highlights was the panel discussion on “Leadership in the Digital Era,” expertly moderated by Seamless’ own team. The session featured an outstanding lineup of leaders:

  • Karl Roquet, CCO & Head of Client Leadership, Aon

  • Kristian Hedberg, Country Manager Sweden & Finland, Criipto

  • Mads Notkevich, Founder & CEO, Balder Forsikring

Together, they brought diverse perspectives from global insurance, digital identity, and insurtech entrepreneurship — sparking a lively discussion about what it takes to lead through change and uncertainty.

The conversation centered on how leadership must evolve to meet the challenges of a rapidly digitalizing world, and what qualities will define successful organizations in the years to come.

Key Takeaways from the Discussion

1️⃣ Attract & Retain Talent
The panel agreed that culture and leadership remain the most powerful differentiators. Technology can enhance efficiency, but it is people who drive innovation. To attract and retain the best talent, leaders must foster environments where employees see digital transformation not as a threat, but as an opportunity to grow, contribute, and lead.

2️⃣ Innovation & Transformation
Innovation, as the panelists emphasized, goes far beyond implementing new tools or experimenting with AI. It’s about transforming mindsets, processes, and business models to align with an increasingly digital-first customer base. True innovation takes courage — the courage to question legacy systems, challenge old assumptions, and empower teams to co-create the future.

3️⃣ Trust, Security & Digital Identity
In an industry built on trust, the digital shift brings both opportunities and responsibilities. As digital interactions expand, security, transparency, and accountability have become the new foundations of trust. The discussion highlighted how digital identity solutions and secure data practices are key to building confidence among customers and partners alike.

Insight, Interaction, and Inspiration

The audience was deeply engaged throughout the event — with thoughtful questions, personal reflections, and plenty of hallway conversations about the future of leadership, technology, and collaboration.

To close the session, Ted Cederlund led an interactive opinion poll capturing the audience’s outlook on the future of the insurance landscape. From the pace of digital adoption to the challenges of regulatory change, Ted’s session provided an energizing snapshot of how industry leaders see the next five years unfolding.

The discussions revealed both optimism and realism: a shared belief that the industry’s transformation is accelerating — and that collaboration across organizations and ecosystems will be key to sustainable growth.
