Release Notes - 2026-09-30

September 30, 2026 – Wider Guarantee Range, Enterprise Sign-On, and Finer-Grained Claims Access

This release adds new guarantee products for the Danish and Swedish markets, introduces single sign-on with external identity providers, gives brokers precise control over which claims each handler can see, and refines pricing, document delivery and fleet policy administration.

1. New Guarantee Products for the Danish and Swedish Markets

Component: Guarantee / BOP

Eight new guarantee products have been configured for the Nordic market. For Denmark these are On-Demand, Commercial Rent Bond, Payment Bond, Advance Payment Bond and Custom Bond. For Sweden they are Performance, Advance Payment and Completion guarantees. Each product has its own question set and validation rules, premium calculation and guarantee document template, and generates documents named consistently from the guarantee number and creation date.

Value: Lets organisations offer a broad range of guarantee products to customers in two new markets, with accurate pricing and professional documentation from the first day of issuance.

2. Single Sign-On with External Identity Providers

Component: User Management / BOP

Users can now sign in to Seamless through their organisation's own identity provider, such as a corporate directory, instead of maintaining separate credentials. Users are first created in Seamless and then authenticate through the external provider. Automated user provisioning from external directories is planned as a separate capability.

Value: Helps organisations meet their internal access management and IT security policies, including operational resilience and compliance requirements, while making sign-in simpler for their teams.

3. Precise Claim Access for External Claims Handlers

Component: Claims

A new permission lets brokers restrict claims handlers to the claims assigned to them, within their own limit group. Handlers can view their assigned claims, the related policy details and documents, and claim notes, and can download claim documents. They cannot see other claims, customer accounts or policy invoices, and the navigation, dashboard and global search adapt to show only what is relevant. This is particularly useful where covers are supplied by different carriers who each handle their own claims within Seamless.

Value: Allows brokers to collaborate securely with external claims handlers, ensuring each carrier sees only its own claim data and supporting clear separation of responsibilities.

4. Cashback Based on Complementary Premium

Component: Pricing

Cashback for motor policies is now calculated from the complementary premium multiplied by the cashback percentage. The update applies to the cashback review workflow and the cashback calculation tool, and the motor pricing integration now returns and stores the complementary amount for this purpose.

Value: Keeps cashback amounts accurate and consistent with the latest pricing structure, improving fairness for customers and confidence for the teams who review cashback.

5. Control over Static Attachments in Policy Emails

Component: Sales / Underwriting

Product builders can now choose, per product, whether the static attachments and terms and conditions document defined on the product version are included when policy emails are sent. Where documents are already attached through the document template, the setting can be switched off to avoid customers receiving the same document twice. Existing products continue to include these attachments unless the setting is changed.

Value: Delivers cleaner, more professional customer emails and gives product teams precise control over exactly which documents customers receive.

6. More Dependable Payment Option Selection for Fleet Policy Additions

Component: BOP

When confirming a fleet policy adjustment after adding new objects, the payment option is now taken directly from the policy itself rather than from organisation-wide settings. Adjustments can therefore be completed smoothly even if the organisation's available payment options have changed since the policy was issued, and fleet policies now behave consistently with other policy types.

Value: Makes fleet policy administration more reliable, allowing teams to add vehicles, vessels and other objects without interruption.

Summary:

This release strengthens Seamless as a platform for growth and enterprise use: more guarantee products for the Nordic region, single sign-on for stronger access management, finer control over claims visibility, and a set of refinements to pricing, email delivery and fleet policy administration.
