Release Notes - 2026-07-14

July 14, 2026 – Smoother Notifications, Clearer Policy Data, and More Resilient Payment Processing

This release introduces new automation for online and app-based policy purchases, strengthens data security and payment reliability, and enhances the precision of premium and earned-premium calculations for more accurate financial reporting.

1. Cleaner Reward Notifications

Component: Loyalty

Notifications related to newly created loyalty reward records have been refined so customers only receive meaningful value-added messages.

Value: Improves the clarity and quality of customer-facing notifications, improving the loyalty experience.

2. Clearer Fleet Policy Creation Dates

Component: BOP / Underwriting

The "created date" shown on the fleet policy list now reflects the date the policy was accepted, consistent with how that same date is already shown elsewhere in the platform, rather than the date the draft was first started.

Value: Gives underwriting and account teams a single, consistent view of when a fleet policy actually came into force, avoiding confusion when comparing dates across screens.

3. Expanded Data Extractor Configuration Options

Component: Data Extractor

The data extraction service now supports boolean-type options within its loader configuration, alongside the option types it already supported.

Value: Gives technical teams more flexibility when configuring data extraction jobs, without needing workarounds for boolean settings.

4. Further Improvements to Daily Premium Processing Performance

Component: Underwriting

Building on earlier performance work, the daily premium calculation process has been further optimized based on findings from ongoing monitoring.

Value: Continues to reduce processing time for daily premium runs, supporting a more responsive and reliable batch process.

5. More Accurate Purchase Confirmation for Online Checkout

Component: Customer Portal

In rare cases where payment confirmation took longer than expected to process, customers completing an online purchase could briefly see a failure message even though their policy and payment had already gone through successfully. The checkout flow now checks the actual policy status before showing any error, so customers see an accurate outcome.

Value: Prevents unnecessary customer concern and support inquiries around purchases that actually completed successfully, strengthening confidence in the online buying experience.

Summary:

This release focuses on trust and reliability across the customer journey: cleaner notifications, more consistent policy dates, a more resilient payment and customer data pipeline, and more accurate checkout confirmation. Alongside these, expanded data extractor configuration and continued performance tuning support smoother operations behind the scenes.
