August 25, 2026 – New Capabilities in Document Security, Claims Handling, Renewals, and Payments

This release introduces new platform capabilities that strengthen document security, give claims teams a more complete view of case-related evidence, add payment-position visibility to policy renewals, and extend integration flexibility for sales and finance workflows.

1. Enhanced Document Access Controls

Component: Documents / Underwriting / BOP

Access to policy and underwriting documents now goes through a more consistent and tightly controlled set of checks. Document lookups use a specific document reference, ensuring precise access, and a new shared access layer standardises how documents are retrieved across the platform, including for fleet policies. Related metadata is now available alongside document records, giving users a fuller picture without extra steps.

Value: Strengthens protection of policy and underwriting documents and gives teams a consistent, dependable way to retrieve the documents they need.

2. Unified Claim Document View

Component: Claims

Documents uploaded through a customer support case that relates to an existing claim now appear automatically in that claim's document list, alongside the claim's own files. Handlers see everything in one place rather than needing to check the originating case separately.

Value: Faster, more complete claims review — handlers spend less time gathering evidence across systems, which speeds up claim decisions and supports thorough documentation.

3. Payment Visibility on Policy Renewals

Component: Underwriting / BOP

When a policy renews while the prior policy has unpaid instalments, the back office captures a clear, point-in-time record of that payment position and can surface a visible warning on the renewed policy (available to accounts that opt in).

Value: Gives customer service and underwriting staff immediate context on a renewal's payment history, enabling more informed conversations with customers and more consistent handling of renewals.

4. Enhanced Payment Failure Insights

Component: Finance / Underwriting

The data feed used to evaluate payment collection outcomes now carries richer detail — including counts of failed, paid, and pending instalments and the outstanding balance tied to failed collections — rather than just a raw list.

Value: Enables faster, more accurate automated decisions around grace periods and policy termination, reducing reliance on manual lookups and supporting consistent handling.

5. Expanded Sales Person Assignment Permissions

Component: User Management / Sales

Application integrations can now be granted permission to link a sales person to a quote, supporting more flexible assignment workflows for partners and integrated systems.

Value: Enables broader automation of sales attribution, reducing manual assignment work and supporting more accurate commission and performance tracking.

Summary:

This release is centred on new capability: stronger, more consistent controls over document access, a unified view of claim-related evidence, payment-position visibility built into the renewal process, richer payment data for automated decision-making, and greater flexibility in how sales attribution is assigned.
