August 18, 2026 – Strengthened Security, More Accurate Claims & Customer Data, and Smoother Partner Integrations

This release improves the claims management and customer summary reporting, enhances editing capability, and delivers a series of reliability improvements for partner-driven quoting and installment processing.

1. Claims Management & Customer Summary Reporting

Component: Claims / Underwriting / BOP

Claim loss summary calculations reflect reserve adjustments, giving an accurate total claim cost rather than double-counting reserve amounts. In addition, the customer summary view now handles edge cases in premium calculation history more gracefully, ensuring the view loads reliably for all customers.

Value: Improves the accuracy of claims cost reporting and ensures customer summary data is reliably accessible, supporting confident, informed case handling.

2. Restored Customer Data Editing & Lookup Access

Component: Customer

Customer data fields on the customer card, along with the population register lookup option, are now available, restoring the ability to update and verify customer information directly from the card.

Value: Removes a blocker to updating and verifying customer records, keeping customer data current with less manual workaround.

3. Expanded Personal Line Customer Data Lookup

Component: BOP / Connector

Support has been added for retrieving individual customer information from external credit data provider, extending existing lookup capability to personal line customers.

Value: Speeds up onboarding and verification of personal line customers, reducing manual data entry.

4. Improved Vehicle Value Range Lookup for Motor Quotes

Component: Pricing

When an external vehicle data source does not return a value range for a specific vehicle combination, the quote engine now falls back to a pre-configured default range rather than blocking the user from proceeding.

Value: Keeps the motor quoting journey moving even when partner vehicle data is incomplete, reducing quote abandonment.

5. Improved Installment Status Consistency for Cancelled Policies

Component: Finance

When a policy termination results in future installments being retained as cancelled, those installments are now also marked as cancelled with the external accounting provider automatically, even for accounts that do not use full reconciliation.

Value: Keeps installment status consistent between Seamless and the accounting provider, giving users a complete and accurate record of terminated policies.

Summary:

This release combines security hardening — tighter entity access controls and a core library upgrade that closes a known vulnerability — with meaningful accuracy improvements in claims and customer data, restored customer editing capability, and a set of reliability gains across partner-driven quoting and instalment processing. Together, these changes make the platform more secure, more accurate, and smoother to operate for both internal teams and integrated partners.
