July 7, 2026 – Stronger security, faster processing, and a more reliable platform experience
The July platform release delivers improvements across security, performance, reporting, communications, and the Customer Portal. Alongside customer-facing enhancements, the release strengthens the underlying platform architecture — improving operational resilience, protecting sensitive information, and creating a stronger foundation for continued development of the Seamless platform.
Daily premium processing has been optimised to improve the performance of large-scale premium calculations.
More efficient processing reduces the time required to complete premium runs, helping ensure that accurate premium information is available to underwriting and finance teams when needed.
This is particularly valuable as transaction and portfolio volumes grow, providing a more scalable foundation for high-volume insurance operations.
Platform services now handle deployments and application restarts more gracefully.
Active processes, scheduled activities, database connections, and other ongoing operations are given the opportunity to complete or close correctly when services are restarted.
This reduces the risk of interrupted processing or inconsistent states during routine platform updates and contributes to greater overall platform resilience.
A core shared platform library has been upgraded across multiple Seamless services.
The upgrade improves compatibility across the service layer, maintains support for current technology standards, and creates a stronger foundation for future infrastructure and platform enhancements.
While largely behind the scenes, this work is important in ensuring that the Seamless platform remains maintainable, scalable, and ready for continued development.
Dynamic quote references in the email composer now resolve correctly when used in outbound communications.
Users can reliably include the appropriate quote identifier in emails generated from the Distribution Portal, helping ensure client communications are accurate and reducing the need for manual corrections.
The platform's standard reporting capabilities have been expanded with reports covering Policies, Customers, Commissions, Cases, Sales, and Total Financial Activity (TFA).
These standard reports provide business users with faster access to structured operational data without requiring bespoke reporting configurations — reducing manual reporting effort and improving visibility across key areas of the insurance lifecycle.
The Policy Details experience has been refined to provide customers with a cleaner and more relevant view of their coverage.
The My add-ons section is now displayed only when a policy includes active add-ons. Policies without add-ons no longer display an unnecessary empty section, making policy information easier to navigate and understand.
Plan and coverage information presented during the quote journey is now derived directly from the relevant product version.
This creates a more reliable connection between configured insurance products and the information presented to prospective customers, reducing the risk of inconsistencies caused by separately maintained channel configurations.
Customers therefore receive more accurate and consistent information about plans and coverage throughout the quotation journey.
Summary:
The July release strengthens both the customer experience and the underlying technology foundation of the Seamless platform.
Customers benefit from clearer policy information, more accurate quotation journeys, improved communications, and expanded standard reporting. Behind the scenes, enhancements to security, premium processing, service resilience, and platform architecture improve reliability and scalability across the platform.
Together, these improvements support a more secure, efficient, and consistent experience for insurers, operational teams, and policyholders.
