May 29, 2026 – Smarter renewals, more reliable financials, and a smoother customer journey

This release delivers meaningful improvements — automating a complex but high-volume renewal workflow, ensuring financial accuracy on cancelled policies, and removing friction from the quoting experience. Under the hood, platform-wide improvements make the entire system more resilient and easier to monitor.

1. Motor — Automated Motor Renewal Bonus Engine

  • Component: Customer scoring · Rules engine

This release introduces a fully automated bonus calculation engine for motor insurance renewals. The system now evaluates claims history and applies bonus upgrades or downgrades automatically at renewal time based on configurable bonus scales — eliminating the need for manual premium adjustments in standard cases. Where a renewal genuinely requires human judgment, the engine flags it for underwriter review with clear prompts — so the right cases get attention without slowing down the rest. Covers passenger cars, motorcycles, and motorhomes.

Business Impact & Value:

This dramatically reduces manual effort in the renewal workflow, minimizes human error in premium calculations, and accelerates the end-to-end renewal cycle. Insurers benefit from faster policy turnaround and consistent, auditable bonus decisions across their motor portfolio (passenger cars, motorcycles, and motorhomes).

2. Earned premium — cancelled policies always net to zero

  • Component: Underwriting, Reinsurance

Earned premium calculations on cancelled policies now always produce the correct net position, regardless of when the cancellation occurs relative to the first premium run. This ensures that compensation transactions generate the correct daily premium runs, so earned premium always reflects the true net position — whether a policy is cancelled before or after the first earned premium run.

Business Impact & Value:

Ensures financial reporting integrity and accurate earned premium figures across the book of business. This prevents revenue misstatements and supports accurate reinsurance reporting and regulatory compliance.

3.  Customer and sales portals — validation feedback on submission

  • Component: Customer portal, Sales portal

Required field validation now works seamlessly at the point of form submission, instantly highlighting any missing information with clear, actionable error messages. This enhancement helps users complete applications more efficiently, reducing friction and ensuring submissions are successful the first time.

Business Impact & Value:

By providing immediate guidance, the update streamlines the quote-to-bind journey for both customers and sales agents, improving completion rates, reducing avoidable support enquiries, and delivering a smoother overall user experience.

4.  Platform-Wide integration enhancements - improved resilience and visibility across all services

A platform-wide enhancement to integration reliability across Compliance, Documents, Finance, Pricing, Sales, Underwriting, User Management, Tenant Management, Reinsurance, Motor Registry, Migration, and Agency Configuration services.

Incoming messages are now validated and handled more robustly at the service boundary, ensuring unexpected or malformed data is identified and managed gracefully before it can impact downstream processes. This reduces the risk of processing errors, improves data integrity, and strengthens overall platform stability.

The enhancement also provides greater operational visibility into integration issues, enabling teams to identify and resolve problems faster while supporting a more resilient and dependable platform experience.

Summary:

This release brings a mix of time-saving automation and improvements behind the scenes that make everyday work a little smoother. The new motor renewal automation reduces manual effort for a process many teams deal with regularly, while updates to financial calculations, form validation, and integration handling help prevent common issues before they become problems.

While some of these changes are more visible than others, they all contribute to a platform that is easier to work with, more reliable day to day, and better equipped to support customers, agents, and internal teams.
