May wrap-up: Smarter payments, stronger security & expanded reporting

We're excited to share the latest improvements to Seamless Insure! This month's update focuses on financial accuracy, platform resilience, and expanded reporting capabilities — reducing manual effort for your teams and keeping the platform secure and scalable.

💰 Finance & Accounting

New payment methods for Swedish tenants
Claims handlers can now process domestic and international transfers using Bankgiro, Plusgiro, and IBAN directly within the platform — giving teams the flexibility to handle both Swedish domestic and cross-border payments without manual workarounds.

Smarter reconciliation on policy terminations
The reconciliation flow now verifies actual payment status with providers before any cancellation is processed, preventing unnecessary refunds and keeping paid and unpaid statuses accurately synchronised across all termination scenarios.

Negative claim adjustments now supported
The platform now correctly handles negative claim payment transactions, with original payment references tracked and reconciled with connected finance systems — ensuring clean, auditable financial records on every claim.

Improved Fortnox integration for Swedish clients
Payment term and autogiro handling in the Fortnox integration has been refined, improving the accuracy of automated invoicing based on payment frequency.

Flexible document delivery with 21grams
The 21grams delivery integration now supports both ZIP and Base64 payload formats via configuration, alongside a new webhook endpoint for real-time delivery status tracking — making it easier to onboard distribution partners with varying technical requirements.

WayToBill checkout — correct language every time
The checkout flow now uses the product's language code as a fallback when a customer's preferred language is not set, ensuring users always see the right language during purchase.

📋 Claims & Guarantees

Claims API now supports server-side filtering
The Claims API has been extended to support filtering on custom fields and status directly at the server level — significantly reducing processing load during bulk operations such as auto-renewal risk assessments and large-scale data queries.

Close draft claims not linked to a policy
Authorised users can now close draft claims that are not connected to a policy, keeping the claims workspace clean and reducing clutter for handlers managing high volumes.

Upcoming guarantee expiry notifications
A new screen and dashboard widget now surfaces guarantees approaching their expiry date, giving teams the visibility they need to act proactively and reduce the risk of lapsed coverage.

📊 Reporting & Analytics

Expanded financial reporting suite

New reports covering reinsurer-specific outputs, sum insured mapping, premium calculations, and brokered product financials have been added to the platform — strengthening regulatory and business reporting accuracy and giving stakeholders richer insight into portfolio performance.

🔒 Platform Security & Reliability

Data warehouse security and tenant isolation

Access controls across the data warehouse have been standardised, with enforced encryption and access logging introduced to reduce the risk of accidental data exposure between tenants.

Pricing service stability improved

A memory leak in the pricing service has been resolved, improving long-term stability and resource efficiency — particularly for tenants running complex, multi-product configurations.

Message queue optimised for high traffic

The message queue consumer has been re-engineered to support batch processing and concurrency, ensuring data visibility remains fast and consistent during peak traffic periods and bulk data operations.

CI/CD pipelines modernised

Legacy deployment pipelines have been fully migrated to a modern CI/CD framework, improving deployment reliability, secrets management, and overall security across the platform.

Automated infrastructure provisioning

Tenant setup, resource management, and data pipeline creation are now handled through automated processes — reducing manual configuration effort and ensuring consistent, secure environment setup for every new client onboarded to the platform.
