July wrap-up: Smarter fleet automation, faster claims, and deeper reporting

We're excited to share the latest improvements to Seamless Insure! This month's update focuses on fleet policy automation, claims efficiency, and expanded reporting — giving your teams less manual work, clearer financial visibility, and richer insight into portfolio performance.

🚚 Policy Administration & Fleet Management

Automatic renewal for advanced fleet child policies Eligible child policies now renew automatically once their parent advanced fleet policy is confirmed, cutting down on manual renewal work and keeping coverage history continuous.

Mandatory stakeholder validation on fleet confirmation Fleet policies now require key related entities, like brokers, to be attached before confirmation — closing gaps in compliance and data completeness before they happen.

Accurate activation dates on fleet policies Fleet policies now record a confirmed date separate from the draft creation date, giving teams a true picture of when coverage actually began.

Multiple stakeholder types on a single fleet policy Fleet policies can now include several related entity types in one policy, with finance integrations correctly reflecting every stakeholder in accounting exports.

Self-service policy withdrawal Customers can now withdraw a policy themselves within the cooling-off period, directly from the portal, bringing the platform in line with EU consumer protection regulations.

Automatic guarantee start date amendments Guarantee start dates and their associated installments now update automatically for specific rent guarantee policies, keeping them aligned with revised MTA requirements.

🗂️ Claims Management

Reserve registration built into claim creation Reserves can now be registered directly from the claim creation dialog, trimming the number of steps handlers need to process a new file.

IBAN and Swedish Giro payments for claims Claim payments now support Bankgiro, Plusgiro, and IBAN transfers, mapped automatically to Business Central for smooth domestic and international payouts.

Payment status visibility on claims Claim payments now show a clear "Failed" or "Processed" status based on feedback from external finance providers, so handlers can act on issues faster.

Improved Fortnox claim payment mapping Claim payment references and method mapping for Fortnox have been refined to ensure supplier invoices register accurately.

📊 Insights & Reporting

PII added to standard customer reports Standard customer reports now include personal identification fields, alongside continued protection of sensitive data, making ad-hoc analysis easier for teams that need it.

Expanded Dina BDX reporting Veho partner car warranty products are now included in Dina BDX reports, giving a complete view of premium tracking and reconciliation for that partnership.

New cancellation management reports Dedicated reports now track policy cancellations, giving Brunskogs better oversight of portfolio changes over time.

Late reported claims insights New reporting surfaces late reported claims, helping management spot and manage potential reserve risk earlier.

Reinsurance written premium reporting A new report and dashboard track ceded and retained premiums, improving visibility into reinsurance positions.

Refined claim transaction date logic Claim transaction reports now use approved dates for payments and reserves, with an added column giving a more accurate financial timeline.

FASBlad5 management reports New FASBlad5 reporting has been delivered to meet Brunskogs' regulatory and management requirements.

🌐 Portal & Localization

Swedish translations refined for withdrawal Swedish-language customers now see clearer, more accurate wording throughout the policy withdrawal journey and other portal features.

Clearer note visibility options Internal note visibility labels and options have been updated, making it easier to control who can see sensitive internal communications.

🔒 Platform Stability

Background job race condition fixed Fine-grained mutex locking now prevents race conditions in self-enqueuing background jobs that were silently breaking downstream processes in production.

Faster daily premium migrations Migration queries behind daily premium runs have been optimized to keep large data volumes processing on time.

.NET stack and Lambda maintenance Scheduled updates to third-party packages across .NET services and AWS Lambda functions keep the platform secure and reliable.

More resilient external claim imports The claim import tool now skips erroneous rows and logs alerts instead of halting the entire pipeline, making bulk data processing far more resilient.
